Wear-resistant ceramic pipes play an important role in many industrial fields, but their performance requirements vary greatly from industry to industry.

Ⅰ. Iron and steel industry, in blast furnace coal injection, slag transportation and other links, materials not only have high hardness, but also accompanied by a large impact force, which requires wear-resistant ceramic pipes with extremely high wear resistance and impact resistance, such as the use of high aluminum ceramic lining pipes can better meet this demand.

Ⅱ. In the coal industry, in addition to wear resistance, coal transportation pipelines also need to consider certain corrosion resistance, because coal may contain corrosive substances such as sulfur, at this time, lined with special ceramics and with corrosion resistant outer layer of the pipeline is more appropriate.

Ⅲ. The working conditions of the chemical industry are more complex, and the medium transported may be various strong acid and alkali solutions, which requires the pipeline not only to wear, but also to have excellent chemical corrosion resistance, such as the selection of silicon carbide ceramic pipeline, which performs well in acid and alkali corrosion resistance, and can effectively guarantee the safe and stable operation of chemical production.

Ⅳ. In the mine powder transportation scene, since the performance requirements for all aspects of the pipeline are relatively not particularly strict, and more attention is paid to the cost performance, the pipeline made of self-burning ceramic material becomes the preferred choice. This kind of pipeline not only can withstand a certain degree of wear, the price is also relatively affordable, but also has the characteristics of light weight, cutting and welding, which can greatly save installation costs. In high temperature environments, such as boiler exhaust systems, chip-type ceramic pipes are not suitable, because high temperatures may cause the chips to fall off easily, thus affecting the normal use of the pipes. In contrast, ceramic pipes with welded structure can ensure that the ceramic layer is firmly bonded to the steel pipe matrix and can still maintain good performance under high temperature environment.

This shows that the supplier’s rich industry experience is crucial. Only by deeply understanding the characteristics and needs of each industry can we accurately recommend the appropriate pipeline type and provide practical solutions for customers.

The bonding process between ceramics and steel pipes is also very critical.

The adhesive is mainly used to fix the ceramic sheet, so the high temperature resistance grade of adhesive is particularly important. In normal temperature environment, normal temperature adhesive may be able to meet the requirements, but in high temperature conditions, it is necessary to use high temperature adhesive, otherwise, the ceramic sheet is easy to fall off. In some high temperature steam transmission pipelines of thermal power plants, due to the use of adhesives that are not resistant to high temperatures, large areas of ceramic sheets fall off during operation, which seriously affects the normal operation of the pipeline. For welded pipes, weld density and shear strength are key parameters. Insufficient solder density will lead to weak bonding between ceramics and steel pipes, while shear strength directly reflects the reliability of solder joints under external forces. In general, the shear strength of welded joints should be ≥15MPa, so as to ensure the stability of pipes under complex working conditions.

When selecting wear-resistant ceramic pipe suppliers, comprehensive evaluation should be carried out from all aspects to avoid single index decision. As a manufacturer in the field of deep cultivation anti-wear materials, we always adhere to the principle of “technology first, quality first”, providing customized anti-wear solutions for steel, power, cement and other industries to help customers achieve efficient and stable operation of transportation systems.
